On this tour you will be visiting Perfume Pagoda, a vast complex of Buddhist temples and shrines built into the limestone Huong Tich mountains. It is the site of a religious festival which draws large numbers of pilgrims from across Vietnam. This will be an experience which will teach you many things about this religion and all this while appreciating the wonderful landscapes.
In the morning (exact time will be advised upon reconfirmation), you will be picked-up at your hotel and then ride on a comfortable bus with A/C, heading West of Hanoi for about 70 km.
As soon as the city traffic is over, you will be passing by nice and peaceful rural villages, where you will see the other type of life Vietnamese can choose to have.
You will also see paddy fields with hospitable people and at some point reach the Yen Vy Wharf, from where we take a boat downstream to Duc Wharf.
At this point we will start our light climbing up to Huong Tich Grotto, a sacred place for every Northern Vietnamese. More than a place to take pictures, this a place to meditate and understand much of Vietnamese culture.
You will also receive lunch on the way and when finished, you will be taken back to your hotel where you were picked up.
Pick up at centrally located Hotel (in Old quarter only)
