New York is one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, and full of contrast between its different boroughs. In this tour you will be able to see the "real" New York; the one that falls behind the popularity of Manhattan but offers the same or more diversity, gastronomy and culture.
On this tour, you will get to know the different sides of the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. This tour will take you to some of the neighborhoods where you can get to know a little more about the Hispanic, Muslim, African-American, and Jewish neighborhoods and culture throughout the city.
Your day will start with a quick ride through Harlem in uptown Manhattan, where you’ll see important historic sites such as the Apollo Theater. Crossing over to the Bronx, you’ll see the home of the world famous New York Yankees, learn about the birth of Hip-Hop, see examples of street art, and more.
Next we will head into Queens and the affluent neighborhood of Malba, with its beautiful homes, then over to Flushing Meadows Park, home of the U.S. Open, New York Mets, and the Unisphere, where you’ll have opportunities to take photos.
The tour will then move on to Brooklyn, where we’ll stop by Williamsburg and Crown Height, one of the largest Hasidic communities outside of Israel.
Afterwards we head down to world-famous Coney Island, a destination for New Yorkers seeking fun and relaxation for over 100 years. Here, weather permitting, you’ll have time to explore the boardwalk, and grab a bite to eat. Finally we will head back towards Manhattan passing by the Brooklyn Bridge.
Pay close attention to your guide, who will give you interesting information about the building of this bridge and its importance through the history of the city. If you choose, you can end your tour here so you’ll have time to admire the different views of city as well as to take stunning pictures.
