The famous Majorelle Gardens are a hidden gem in Marrakech that you will have the chance to explore. This wonderful tropical garden features fountains, pools, forests of bamboo, cactus and a fabulous museum with a private collection.
Over 15 exclusive North African bird species can be seen here along with other incredible animals and insects. Additionally, you can appreciate the bright, cobalt blue buildings designed by the famous French artist, Louis Majorelle and later restored by Yves Saint Laurent, that surround this garden and make it a perfect place to take pictures.
You will also have the chance to explore the city's ramparts traveling in a classic barouche. The old Marrakech walls are an example of the timeless aspects of Moroccan life. The ramparts dominate Marrakech with their characteristic red stone walls and marvelous gates. Stretching over 6 miles, the city ramparts are one of Marrakech ́s main attractions. Ten gates with 25 to 32 feet pierce the wall as entry points. Some of these gates inspired other Moroccan cities and the most well-known of these gates is Bab Khemis.
We will see all of them in this incredible 3-hour tour.
