After your professional guide picks you up at your hotel, you will drive in an air-conditioned minibus to the colonial village of Tlaquepaque. Located just 4 miles (7 kilometers) from the center of Guadalajara, this small town is known for its handicrafts, including pottery, woodcarvings and leather work.
Stroll through Tlaquepaque narrow cobbled streets to find beautiful Mexican handicrafts in the shops that were once magnificent colonial mansions. On certain days of the week, a big market takes over the main streets of Tonala and people from all over the area come to shop for handicrafts.
