Walk through the narrow corridors of Santo Domingo's past and unveil the beginnings of the "New World".
Learn about the oldest colonial city in Latin America, starting by the Palace of Diego Columbus. Walk to one of the oldest streets of the American continent and the first of the city of Santo Domingo, Calle Las Damas.
Finally, visit the National Pantheon, a monument of great historical significance, once a church of the Jesuits and later becoming the final resting place of notable Dominican historical figures.
Your tour will pick you up directly in your hotel Lobby or at the Sheraton Hotel (if you prefer).
We will first head to Santo Domingo's main plaza where the former Palace of Diego Columbus was built and is now the museum "Alcazar de Colon".
We will then walk to the oldest
streets of the American continent and visit
the National Pantheon as well as the "Parque Colon", which served as the main center of
celebration for the society in the colonial era.
Finally, head to the famous pedestrian
street of El Conde and wander through the souvenir shops or just have some coffee and enjoy the atmosphere.
We will finish at the first cathedral in America, where the
fervent catholic faith was born and maintained every Sunday.
You will have time to enjoy and absorb the atmosphere, but once the tour is done, we will take you back to your hotel.
